Do most superheroes in the Marvel universe and the X-Men specifically even have secret identities anymore?

Other than Spiderman, I think most superheroes' identities are pretty much common knowledge at least within the superhero community.

I never got that with the X-men really.
I think Logan pops his claws most of the time in his civvies, so he doesn't care.

I think that it is common knowledge that Cyclops is Scott Summers. Ororo is queen of Wakanda, so that is hardly a secret. I do think that people like Colossus are much less obvious. Other heroes outside of the X-Men may know that his first name is Piotr, but probably not his last name.

Warren, Hank and Charles' identities and mutant status are all public knowledge.

Is it public knowledge that Tony Stark is Iron Man and that Steve Rogers is Captain America?

Well, he's not technically captain America any more, lol, but Yes, Steve Rogers and Tony Stark's identities are common knowledge (thank you Civil War, though I think both were known before hand).
The public doesn't know about Bucky Barnes (I know he's dead, but it still stands).

I always thought the X Men was more about hiding mutants than secrect identities.

With the whole Civil War thing, most of them were outed. The X-Men (on the other hand) were all registered previously as part of the 198 and the O*N*E bits, so yeah pretty much all of them have their real identities know, at least as far as other heroes and SHIELD types go. Doubt the man on the street really knows or much cares.

Yeah he outed himself on TV. Pretty much immediately shown as a mistake for Marvel.

I can't help but imagine you in a brush hat with a folding stock shotgun and an British accent accent.
