I think we saw a Ororo cameo when Charles uses Cerebro for the 1st time.
she was 6-ish maybe?
The events of X-Men: First Class primarily occur in 1962, so that could place Ororo's birth some time in 1956? So assuming that the first X-Men movie occurs in 2000 that would make her like 44 years old in that movie?

If Scott was 18 years old in the Wolverine movie and that it occurred in 1979 that would make his birth date some time in 1961? This would make him 39 years old in the first X-Men movie? Connecting all of the movies together would also make Alex the much older brother, as Scott would only be a baby in 1962.

I have no idea how old Jean is in the first movie, but she is obviously older than Scott, perhaps as old as Ororo? In addition to explain the first scene of X-Men 3 and Magneto and Xavier's presence together when they visit the Grey household perhaps they had reconciled their friendship briefly for a while?

A little late to the thread but I am a little new to the website :)

After reading articles that Disney is going to try and slowly regain the cinematic licenses of all of marvels works, thereby giving Marvel studios the ability to redo all the movies that Fox and Sony have done.

http://fans.marvel.com/go/thread/view/108230/26091897/Disney_Want_Marvel_Movie_Character_Rights_Back_From_Sony_And_Fox

I have decided to not go see anymore Fox or Sony movies based on Marvel characters. In my little opinion Marvel Studios have done a fantastic job so far, way better than anything Sony or Fox have done. So the sooner Marvel regain the cinematic rights the better.

The less profit Sony and Fox make off of Marvel characters the quicker Marvel will regain the cinematic rights ;) And in all honesty I am getting tired of seeing someone else's version of the comics I have read. If I go to see the X-men first class movie then I do wish to see chuck as the teacher of Scott, Jean, Warren, Hank and Bob. If I go to see a ghostrider movie then I expect to see ghostrider etc etc :)

I saw an interview with Bryan Singer after this movie was released where he said Alex Summers in the movie is no relation whatsoever to Scott Summers in the other X-titles. And that Sunspot ( from the new mutants comic ) was in the movie but his scenes were cut out due to time and whatnot. And making Moira Mctaggert an agent of the US government? I just could not understand why they did that. Marvel have many other characters that are already US government agents and yet Fox decide to make a US agent out of a Scottish genetic scientist?

As a movie on it's own I thought it was ok, but as a comic book adaption I'm not even sure what comic they are adapting it from.
