Wow, the forum has been dead this past week or two. I guess that means like myself everyone has actual real lives and business that takes precendence over comic related stuff.  For myself, I am personally ashamed of my behavior of late...how dare I have an actual life to live when deep down in my heart I know instead I should be just sitting around all day dreaming about Wolverine and comic books.  If this keeps up the union will revoke my geek membership card.

I've been thinking about some missing back issues I need, plus I'd like to buy some duplicates of back issues I already have. Missing comics from my collection: Ms. Marvel 16 & 18, Daredevil 111, X-Men 98, 118, 133, 141, 142 and Giant Size X-Men 1; Avengers 66; Wolverine Origins 2 (Canadian Variant Cover) Duplicates I want: Hulk 180, 181, 182; New Mutants 98; Iron Fist 14 (epecially a 35 cent variant) Anyone else seeking out missing back issues from your collection? |

i actually haven't gotten all the new comics yet. i've been very busy lately especially since i just started working.. also found out that these are the only "wolverine" comics i'm lacking.. 1982 mini-series: 1-4 i have it in tpb form but i'm trying to get my hands on the single issues.. 1988-2003: 10, 127, 128, 141, 143, 145, 180 2003-2009: 18, 38, 39 i also lack a few more like cable 13 (messiah war), 2 issues from second coming, and i'm also trying to complete the new x-men run of kyle and yost.. |

Hey, I have a fan letter in Wolverine Vol.2 1988 series issue number 142. I forgot to give them permission to publish my address at the time, but my name is at the bottom: Barry Simms. You saying that you're missing issues 141 and 143 reminded me of that. Good luck on your treasure hunt for those back issues. :-) |

really? might go check that out sometime.  and thanks, hopefully by the end of the year i'll be able to complete it..my picture is actually printed at the back of the secret avengers 1 comic..as part of the "i am an avenger" thing, i bought two copies of that one, one for me and the other for my then girlfriend..wonder whatever happened to that comic.. and i also tried to write to the current cutting edge but they haven't printed my letter.. |

That's cool, man. It makes you feel good to actually be part of the comic. Getting your picture printed at the back of secret avengers is really nice. |

I haven't been around mostly due to a trip to San Francisco I took last weekend and the ensuing amount of catch up I had to do at work. Should be back to checking (most) days now. |
