It was good. I liked it better then most comic book films. Not up to Iron Man or X2 but still much better then most of the stuff these days. Hopefully Capt. America will be as good.

Plenty of small gripes though. Thought the middle was a bit slow and the ending rushed. Also I agree that the Destroyer should have had a bigger role. But neither really hurt the enjoyment.

So I am not the only one who thought the ending felt rushed? I was a little confused at the pacing of events as well. Like we are supposed to believe that Thor learned humility in all of two days? That part felt a little off to me. The film makers could have tacked an extra 30 minutes onto the film and to expand on his hardships as a human a little more to show more of a learning process.

But for me that is part of the problem with films these days, so many film makers are in such a hurry to get people in and out of the theater under that 90-100 minute mark that they often rush the story, in my opinion.

Montage would have been better as a passage of time.
It's suprisingly really since Kenneth Branagh had like a 4 hour version of Hamlet.

The humility occurred completely in about 30 seconds. This is Thor after all. When he could not lift his own hammer, that told him all he needed to. It would be like having a devout Catholic having God show up and tell him specifically that he was a jerk and needed to change. That was enough for it to turn around for me.

Now the ending battles did seem rushed but I felt that was more due to limiting the budget and effects then anything else.

"Mister Catholic Man, you're a Jerk. Sincerely, God."

Best letter ever.

When to use than or then? Here is the answer:

•Use then to show sequence, what happens next. Other meanings include “at that time” and “as a necessary consequence”
Examples:
- The whole family had a leisurely breakfast. We then went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.
- He was just a little child then.
- If she is going to write another novel, then she should find another editor.

•Use than to compare things.
Example: The dinosaur bones were older than anything I had ever seen before.

THEN shows sequence

THAN is used to compare things.

Sorry. It's a pet peeve.

I would swap religons in a minute if that letter does exist.
