I agree with the no 3-D garbage. When I go to see a movie I just want to see the movie on a decent sized screen with decent sound. I do not care about THX sound, IMax, or 3-D. Maybe I am getting old, but I have noticed alot of theatres have the sound for their movies turned up way, way too high. I am sorry but I do not need to have my teeth rattled and ear drums blown out to enjoy a movie. In addition I feel the same way about Blu-ray and DVD. I know a good number of movies on blu-ray have features that I will never use, like where the watcher can re-edit scenes to their preference. I am not that much of a movie-phile to goof around with such things, besides who has the time? On DVD or Blu-ray I just want a few basic things, the movie (of course), the trailer, previews, deleted scenes, and maybe a short half hour documentary on the film. The only real advantage I can see for Blu-ray is that they are more stable and harder to scratch and have more storage space to fit the whole movie on one disc (like the Lord of the Rings Extended editions). Back on topic, in the trailer I did like how commanding they made Anthony Hopkins as Odin. |

That was an interesting choice Heimdall, but it could work. Anthony Hopkins as Odin is perfect. Ray Stevenson as Volstagg is going to be neat. |

The latest Trailer from Thor, also from the Superbowl. I am actually really anxious to see this movie, more than I am about Captain America. |

Not much new, but I tend to agree. I prefer the more fantastical Thor to the WWII Capt. America so far. Not much for period movies (or WWII) in general anyway. |

I do wonder how they'll tie in Thor's Asgard with Nick Fury's SHIELD or Tony Stark's tech. |

They are tying Thor to the real world, at least somewhat, with his being sent to the mortal realm. I figure that gives an emotional tie to the place at least. |
