Hello everybody! Just found this great place a couple days ago. I am a big Wolverine fan! I am 54 years old, and really just discovered comic books about 3 years ago. A good friend introduced me to Wolverine, and I guess you could say it was love at first sight. I now have 5 boxes of Wolvie comic books. I especially like to get neat covers. I just got one from France, and the cover is just Wolvie's face, half stripped of skin with his adamantium skull grinning through. It's cool! And no lettering on the cover either. I wish they'd do such neat covers here in this country. I also have discovered resin kits! Just finished a statue of Kitty and Colossus from Astonishing, and I'm now working on one of Logan, barechested, claws out, looking like he's going to pounce... I am so glad to be here! Wolvie rules!  |

Welcome! That French cover sounds very cool. What issue is it? Be sure to check out DiG's section on "Classic Wolverine Covers" over on the Wolverine Files (linked from this forum's Homepage) - you'll probably recognize many great covers over there. Enjoy! |

Thanks for the warm welcome! The Astonishing statue has been mailed already, it was a birthday present for my friend that introduced me to Wolverine. I neglected to take pics of it! Maybe she will send some to me. I certainly will post my progress of Logan, though! I just started on him, only in the sanding phase right now... Here's that cool French cover so you all can see it. Now that I look inside it, I see that it's a compilation of comic books. It has Uncanny X Men numbers 508 thru 511. You can't tell in this picture here, but the adamantium parts are all silver foil. They show up as black in this picture.
