in that issue Logan said he has always wanted Rogue i think they would make a great couple there close friends they are alike yet not. Wolverine and Rogue are my fav possible pairing i never liked her with Gambit Bobby or Magneto. i always felt her and Logan could have something good if the writers were to ever do it. |

I have always hated Gambit. Bobby has always been portrayed as so immature. Rogue with Magneto always seemed a bit weird, I thought Magneto's best match was Lee Forrester. |

I always liked Gambit-Rogue, but that might be because I saw the animated show and in recent comics. |

I never liked Gambit as a character. He always seemed to be a bit too slick and too perfect. Once they had him beating Wolverine in the Danger Room I was done with him. It was too much like a Mary Jane character to me. And honestly none of the attempts to make him deeper or darker have really worked. |

I agree with you totally about this. The only thing I did like about that fight was that Logan was stlll depicted as having a reasonable healing factor. At that point he was still healing from his torture by the reavers. That is the only way I accepted Logan being beat by the likes of Gambit. |

i think Gambit and Rogue suck as a couple i never bought there love for each other Gambit always tried to get in Rogues pants. i liked it better when in the comics Rogue hated Gambit. in the 90s cartoon Gambit Rogue felt more like just sexual atraction like Jean and Logan. |

Jean and Logan is a bit more then just lust, they have known each other for too long. As for Gambit and Rogue, I always felt it was more like a challenge for him. How do you seduce someone you can't even touch? Just another way to prove how cool and irresistible he was. After all I don't think it was ever even inferred that he was staying celibate to date her. |

rogue isn't a virgin thanks to whatever writers thought would be a nice revelation during the death of sentry. |
