It was a messed up time. She was just getting free of Carol's persona and Rogue's head was in a weird place. Mags helped her out and things grew from there. Keep in mind that Magento's body has been physically regressed a few times so he is not the old man he should be. |

I consider that whenever you read comics you have to do it in a unique mindset where you're constantly picking and choosing what you're going to decide to accept and what you're going to discard. There is a lot of stuff that I conveniently ignore or pretend never happened. I think that's one reason that so many people can have so many different views of the same comic book character. |

Well if you can accept people flying or shooting beams from their eyes or clinging to walls, it's hard not to accept some other things. But even so you do have to draw the line somewhere. The story needs to make sense and be engaging. |
