i just found this news while surfing on the internet..not sure if it's true but here it is:

Parents group rails on Mcdonalds for Marvel Happy Meal toys

It’s hard to believe, but McDonald’s Happy Meal toys have hit a new low.

The fast food giant’s latest giveaway for preschool boys features eight Marvel comic action figures. One, The Human Torch, is a man engulfed in flames. Another, The Thing, menacingly roars “IT’S CLOBBERIN’ TIME!” at the press of a button.

i know it's been discussed in the kids these days thread but i hate it when certain parents tend to think that everything that shows the slightest hint of violence will cause a kid to hurt someone. i know wrestling has been blamed, human torch was taken out of the fantastic four tv series, GTA getting blamed for a whole lot of stuff. But aren't they the same people who grew up on VERY violent cartoons such as tom and jerry and the looney toons?

Looney Toons even got edited at one point. When I was a kid a friend's mom would not let him watch the three stooges because she thought it was too violent.

No more voilent than Grim brothers fairy tales. Seriously read Snow White before Diseny got hold of it.

Beyond that, if you don't like, don't buy. It's a very effective protest method and doesn't get people so hot under the collar.

Those parents are probably the same people who flagged Mass Effect!
They should all be rounded up and drowned in Ammonia!

....

Okay that was violent, but that's not because I play video games.

The Ammonia would burn/poison them (depending on strength) before they drowned. Plus stinks to high heaven. Go with sulphuric or Hydrochloric acid. Quicker and smells less
(And that's cause I'm a chemistry graduate)

You wouldn't drown in either. Too much tissue damage before that happened.

Nope, but it definately smells better than ammonia. Plus you are not left with the issue of bodies to dispose of.

Just don't be around when you drop them in. HCl is nasty stuff.

Yeah. Sulphuric is worse though. HCl will at least stop. Sulphuric goes though bones.
