ebay doesn't always make it easy. half the stuff i find here at our local ebay have jacked up prices..
My problem with ebay is that whenever I bid on something it seems like everyone in the world wants it and I end up having to "fight" for it. But then I turn around and try to sell something (cheap) and I get no bids at all. I mean what is up with that?

from my experience, what i try to do is that when i see something that no one bids on, i try to wait a bit especially if the owner is just disposing of the thing..since it'll the price is still likely to go down. but once someone bids, if i have money i'll try to see and i'll probably bid the maximum amount i'm willing to spend on a thing.

I usually wait until the end of the auction and then put in the maximum amount I am willing to pay, but most often I still get out bid. I get annoyed because I know that there are some people out there that do not really want to fight for the item, but instead chose to jack up the price just to be jerks.

yeah, i know how it feels..i try to "snipe" as much as possible..i also know that some of the sellers use other accounts in order to jack up the prices of their product..

I usually only go for things that have a buy out price that I am willing to pay and then just buy it. I don't have a lot of patience for trying to bid on items and hope.

I do that alot as well. Otherwise if it is a book I check Amazon first and will only bid as high as the Amazon price (w/ shipping) but hope that I get it for less than that.

I do amazon the most. I buy a lot of DVDs so I signed up for the Prime membership. Free two day shipping for the week for 79 bucks. It works for me. Unfortunately they don't sell individual comics, just trades.

On another note. It looks like this thread might have been corrupted. There is another entry created by you with no replies that forwards to this one. You might want to take a look and see about getting rid of the other one.

Yeah I am not sure what is going on with that. I have tried but I cannot fix it.

I don't guess it really matters. If it becomes an issue later we could always try to move the topic to another thread or just copy it out.
