Has anyone else heard of the new show entitled, "No Ordinary Family" that is airing this fall on ABC? It looks mildly interesting. Here is the wiki. I just finished watching the first episode of "No Ordinary Family" and I will say that I thought it was pretty decent. I am not sure how they are going to make a whole series out of it? Also a villian in the first episode had Nightcrawler-like powers. |

I watched it. It was pretty decent. I laughed more than I thought I would. Very cool stuff. I'm thinking that it's gonna be kinda lame how they explain the reasons for each particular ability. I get a kind of "second tier mutation" vibe, ya now? Reed Richards prided himself on the flexibility of his mind, thus he becomes Mr. Fantastic. Sue Storm feels invisible while taking care of her brother (and to a lesser extent, Reed), and so she becomes the Invisible Woman. Julie Benz feels like she doesn't have enough time to get everything done in her life, thus she gains super speed, ya know? |

While not outstanding, I am enjoying this show. I have always liked Michael Chiklis as an actor, and Julie Benz and Kay Panabaker are nice eye candy. |
