I finished all the scripts for my 12 issue run on one of Marvel’s cadillac titles, but (wait for it) they haven’t announced the details yet so…
I do know it should start running in fall of this year.

The 12 issue run on a major Marvel title that I have hinted at for some time now is close to having an artist. Yeah! This is going to be another one of those things where issue one doesn’t see the light of day until over well over a year after I wrote issue twelve. Last I heard it was slated to start this fall.

Rich Johnston

Novelist Charlie Huston attended a book signing yesterday at a bar in Stockholm... During the signing one Swedish Little Bleeder asked Charlie about his upcoming Marvel work... [Huston] told the assembled crowd that he’d be launching a twelve issue run on Wolverine, with a new… direction.

Thought this was interesting, I'd certainly give a Wolverine series by Charlie Huston a chance, since he did a great job on MOON KNIGHT. Obviously Jason Aaron is getting the main WOLVERINE title, so anyone know what's happening with WEAPON X?

Well Aaron is starting it but it could become like Astonishing where there are runs of different people at different times, especially if they decide to increase the frequency of the title to maybe bi-monthly rather then keep adding titles.

Three words for you. Daniel Way, Deadpool.

I want to see this series, before I form any opinions about it.

i'm keeping my hopes up for this one. i like it better when wolverine deals with something new rather than just revisiting his past.

I like some stories visiting his past, but I prefer them if they have a link to his present (and are not written by Daniel Way)

I haven't read anything by Huston so withholding judgment though I have heard good things about his Moon knight. So long as he respects the character and tells some interesting stories, I'm fine with it.

Im for the new series since it is Wolverine. However i do still wish this never came out since I want Jason Aaron's wolverine book to be the only one. I just wonder if Huston will only write the first 12 issues then leave and who they replace him with if anyone or cancel it after his story is over.

I'm fine with two, Deadpool has three after all and there are plenty of chars that have a at least that. This lets you have a little variety in case you are not a big fan of a story arc running in one series.
