Just came back from seeing the film, it's pretty good, but not as good as the first film. It's a Iron Man film really, but they try to tease you with Avengers and SHIELD storylines, but they enver really take off. |

It is definately impressive, though as Govar said, not as good as the first one. As a friend of mine put, the first one would have been a good film even with out the Iron Man bits. This one relied heavily on Iron. The final part was also confusing unless you know The Avengers, but is good as it tells us that Not only is Cap getting his own movie, Sqeeeels |

He does at the end yes, and it looks somewhat the same like in the comics mixed with those robots you saw in the trailer. The folks in my cinema went 'Oh my god...' when they saw Cap's shield, and five seconds later almost threw their popcorn at the screen when Tony used it to elevate the energy pipe line. Also i'm glad the film went out of it's way for the Tony/Natasha relationship but actually follows the Pepper Potts relationship, which is a original way in keeping the films original. Personally I wish they had put in more SHIELD scenes, Sam Jackson was just plain AWESOME. Makes you wonder who are in the Avengers allready. The Pyms? They seem to know Mjolnir... |

At the end of the Avengers movie it would be nice to see a team shot that includes the Pyms, Hawkeye, the Vision, and the Black Panther. |

Well currently you have Iron Man, Cap, Thor and Hulk for the movie as mains with War Machine, Fury and Black Widow as smaller roles. I would be somewhat surprised if Hank Pym, at a minimum, did not appear though considering they are probably doing an Ant-Man movie after the Avengers. More thinking a cameo pre-powers though with him and maybe Jan leading into the Ant-Man movie. |
