*shrugs* I say it's close enough. True, Logan's got actual children, but I'd imagine, being the good (if screwed up) man that he is, he'd see Laura as his responsibility, his to take care of and try to help raise, since it's his fault she exists. True, he had nothing to do with her creation (save being the genetic template), but he'll see it otherwise. As far as the Liam-ness in this fic, I think it's gonna be completely from Liam's point of view. I need to get him out of my system before I can write another full length Logan fic. I feel like his story is there, waiting to be told, and I wanna hear it. Only problem is that I don't know it until I write it. Once he's out of my system, though, it'll be back to business as usual. |

Him becoming part of life at the mansion. What it's like to become an X-Man, from arrival and introductions, to physicals and testing, Danger Room assessment, (ugh) uniform selection, having to deal with the fact that he's not ready to be an actual X-Man yet. He's a grown man, older than all the students, but he hasn't been open with his powers, so he's still a new guy around the school. He's gotta face the fact that he's not X-Men material yet. Plus, explosions. Lots of those too... |

Santo will be ambivalent, mostly. He'll give the "Older Brother" talk to Liam, even though Liam's a good six years older than he is. Keep in mind that all the New X-Men are now in their early 20's. The story takes place when they're all between 20 and 25 (ish). Julian Keller, who vanished in the last story, will be making a comeback. Expect some serious tension between he and Liam. |
