According to the Superhero-Hype website there is a new Doc Savage movie in the works. (I am anxious to see this one) http://www.superherohype.com/news.php?id=9095&offset=25 Here is a cast list that someone suggested. Doc-Dominic Purcell (Can already pull off the short hair) Monk Mayfair - Michael Chiklis Ham Brooks - Jason Isaacs Johnny Littlejohn - Hugh Laurie Renny Renwick - Ray Stevenson Long Tom Roberts - Adrian Brody Pat Savage - Blake Lively I agree with most of the choices. If you are not interest in this as much as I am that is okay, but to my way of thinking it all still relates to Wolverine. The history that has been built up for Logan regarding his pre-super-hero days is rooted in the pulp-tradition. Most of his pre-costume adventures are homages to either pulp heroes or spy-novels. I have always thought that Logan would fit right in with Doc Savage or the Shadow on some grim and gritty adventure. As I have written before I would love to see a cross-over where Logan meets either Doc Savage or the Shadow. Most of the writing that has been done that only depicts Logan as a anti-hero killing machine bores me and ignores the more important aspects of the character and is a hold-over from the awful 90s trend. Logan is so much more than that. |

Look him up, because he was one of the inpirations for Superman, and let's face it if it wasn't for Supes the super-hero genre may not exsist. |

Can you imagine a story where Logan encounters the Shadow on the dark and gritty streets of New York City during the 1930s? I mean Logan was in New York in 1939. |
