They'll be together up to the point that their teams split. Maybe Doom is holding the original X-Men hostage or some such, and so Logan and Creed will have to combine their efforts to battle through the army of Doombots/human servants between them and their objective. Cruise the Blackbird into Latverian airspace, and when it gets targeted, have everyone bail out. Maybe using S.H.I.E.L.D. H.A.W.K. harnesses, and have Logan and Creed have a moment of pure bliss as they freefall for miles and miles. They connect through the exhiliration of maybe dying, and have a laugh as the other X-Men kinda panic. Everybody lands, but it's a bushwhack. Doom knew they were coming (as he should, since he's DOOM!), and set a ton and a half of Doombots between them and the castle. Once they get inside, they can split up to look for the original team. Or, ya know...whatever you had planned. It's your story, after all Genius! Who needs Krakoa anyway, we got DOOM! It sounds like a good idea and we could give the entire X-men frachise a totally new twist. Heck we can even make one of them part of the ill-fated Second group, the sole survivor if yu will, and Charles mind wipes him/her and gets thrown in with the Third wave. Also i've been contemplating if we should or should not put in character's we created ourselves, after all this is a new timeline thus we can give it new characters. Perhaps each of the writers can thrown in one character they created themselves? or we can stay with this motley group, everything goes. Man i haven't felt this giddy before when we were planning 'The Spectacular X-men'.

We can always add CC as we go along, after all think of all the people the X Men meet on a semi daily basis. We can at least share our created Characters and get other people's input on them. Or we could just leave out some who were on the original team. Sunfire for example, I never understood why he joined.

Maybe it makes sense our CC's are in the third wave, makes more sense to add more team members in your third wave if you second one only had five or so members and thus outgunned.

Have Logan or Creed be a sole survivor, and then take a team consisting of Pete, 'Ro, Kurt, and a few CC's. I'd throw Kurt and 'Ro in with Logan, and then Pete with Creed. Then you could fill the rest of the squad places with CC's.
