They say that it's going to be based of the "Japan Arc." I assume that means Mariko . . . which means we're probably going to get more crying Logan at the end (le sigh . . . .). I'm hoping for the Silver Samurai, the Hand, and some actual fight scenes that, you know . . . *feel* like fight scenes. I know it's asking a bit much for a semi-decent movie, but one can dream. What do you guys hope (not expect--that's a whole different ball game) to see in the next Wolverine movie--be it from Fox or in that hopeful reboot-to-eventually-be? Ninja and martial arts would be nice. Some Hand scenes and Mariko is fine too if they go that way but for a movie I'd prefer Yukiko. |

Is that Yuriko (Lady Deathstrike)? Or Yukio, the ninja assassin originally sent to kill Logan and ends up in love with him, eventually caring for Amiko? I'd eventually like to see the Origins story retold in a coherent manner - with more "origins" and less "let's see how many other mutants we can introduce to a gullible public, and pick which one will be our next 'big thing!'" |

Yukiko is Yukio's name. I seem to recall Wolverine kind of teasing her about the change--something about Yukiko sounding to "girlie." I might be making that up, though. I'd love to see the original miniseries--uncluttered with noise. Mutants aren't all over the place, and for this movie, Logan is the only one we need. The only other one that would fit in without too much of a stretch is the Silver Samurai. And I would murder if it meant we'd finally get a good Weapon X story. |

No offense against Asians in tight leather...i wouldn't hit that, even with a stick. Heck i would be heart broken after Amir.... Back on topic! I honest to god hope they make it a good action film (like the alst one) but with a better story. No more Deadpool shenanigans! i love Hugh's acting and he puts Logan across very well, and it's because of him i cheer for the sequel. I also hope the Hand makes a appearence as does Elektra, or heck even Daredevil! Fox owes them both right? interconnect the Marvel characters then! |

She's Yukio in the first Claremont/Miller series, and usually goes by that name. There are several characters in this universe whose names are very close, but the characters themselves are very different. It's often confusing which character posters mean when the name is misspelled, and one has to extrapolate from context to determine which character the poster is actually referencing. Yukio and Yuriko are very different characters. |

Yes. For the record: Yuriko=Deathstrike Yukio=Yukiko=sometime lover of Wolverine, Assassin And yes, it's only because of Hugh that I'm hoping for anything out of this movie. Just please . . . no more crying unless there's a really, *really* good reason. |
