Basically got sick of being about six months behind everyone else, so decided to ask for help. I'm in the UK, so would prefer sites with low shipping costs to there. I already know Forbiddenplanet, but can anyone suggest any other good ones? Lots of back issues preferred. |

I use mycomicshop.com for most of my buying needs. Prices tend to be a bit below milehighcomics which goes very much by the Comic's guide. |

Yeah, I'm a student, so money is tight. I know there have to be some in the UK, I just can't find them. (and I don't think I'm the only UK national here, someone correct me if I'm wrong) It's also I'm lousy at currency conversion, so the UK sites have prices in pounds, which I can understand.

When I first started trying to collect back issues I relied a lot on ebay. Not the most efficient, perhaps, but I got some steals. If you're just looking for reading, though, I recently became a believer in the digital comics over at Marvel. They just barely fixed up a new program that actually works, and it's only 60 (American) dollars for a full year. They have toooooons of stuff on there, and upload new issues all the time. |
