I'm posting this here, even though I know House of M is not technically an alternative reality. It's still a vision of a different world, even if it's just the Scarlet Witch. Basically what do people think of the House of M? Love it or Hate it? We know that PDA didn't like Way's House of M Wolverine, but what do other people think? Does Gage do a better job in his House of M Masters of Evil Mini series? Basically let's talk House of M |

It was pretty much forgettable really. The series was another alternate universe at a time when we were seeing so many of them especially on the X-Men side of things. As far as I am concerned it really only gave us two good things, Illyana back alive and Layla Miller one of the more interesting characters in X-Factor. The whole 'No More Mutants' thing is an ok idea but really has dragged on far too long and just makes people either ignore it or figure out ways around it. |

I confess I don't tend to focus on the aftermath, I just enjoy it as an alternative reality. And I love Wolverine as a SHIELD Agent, and the idea of mutants in control... Basically I found it really cool, which is why I'm subtly trying to find out if the new Master's of Evil limited is good for wolverine or not, especially if anyone knows where scans might be found. |

Sorry didn't read it. I read the Magneto one and it was ok but nothing special so have skipped the others. |

"We know that PDA didn't like Way's House of M Wolverine..." I'm fine with the idea of Logan as a SHIELD agent in an alternate setting; it's just how he's presented here as someone so easily fooled, manipulated, and beaten that turned me completely off. But that's just li'l ol' me. Boring ol' PDA with a done-to-death, boring, li'l ol' opinion. |

As I wasn't that familiar with Way's stories at that time, I presumed that Wolverine was aware of the deception and was going along with it for reasons of his own (either he was bored, or to protect Nick Fury, who I was convinced he had helped escape (still am)). I admit I wondered if his role in the House of M was a bt like Falcon in the current Captain America, within the system, but working with those outside it, as I couldn't see him going along with the prosecution of humans that we saw. It might be that why I'm the only person who likes House of M. |

Did not read it, but then again the idea of alternate realities and the X-Men does not appeal to me. Sometimes these realities give us cool characters for a few issues of a series and then series ends and the characters disappear never to be seen again. |

For me House of M showed a good alternative Universe for Spider-man more then Wolverine. Spidey never really get invovled much in Mutant affairs and only got dragged into this because of his New Avenger status. |

Well I loved Days of Future Past and even AoA in their time but since then I have not seen much in the way of alternate universes that I have enjoyed. Although House of M did give us Illyana back so it will always have meaning to me for that. |

Good? Spider-man as Green Goblin and faking suicide? No offence meant, but I think the poor guy ended up with the most screwed up of all them (Admittedly things were O.K. for him in the main bit, but in his own story line...good shudders (as it was a good story line) |
