The suitcase suit, a nod to the old comics. I wonder if anything that happend in 'The incredible Hulk' will get a mention here... |

The suitcase suit is considered in the movie to be the Mark V, while the suit Tony wears in battle alongside War Machine is the Mark VI. Director Jon Favreau recently stated that IRON MAN 2 takes place before Tony Stark's meeting with General Ross at the end of INCREDIBLE HULK. |

Not sure if it's shown in active use within the movie but you can see it standing alongside Marks I-III in the armory at the 1:39 point. Here's the action figure version of the Mark IV... http://www.toywiz.com/ironmaniv.html |

I read that as well, that Iron Man 2 comes before Incredible Hulk but that seems odd since most people are not going to realize it. Why make it more confusing, just have the movies occur in the order they come out. |

From what I've seen from clips with Nick Fury & Tony Stark in Iron Man 2, they seem to still be establishing an initial relationship. I don't think Tony is too thrilled with Nick at the beginning. The scene at the end of Incredible Hulk shows that things have changed and Tony is on board with the Avengers idea. Granted, we have yet to see the movie, but I'm sure that the order in which these scenes originally presented themselves will not greatly confuse audiences. Hopefully so since people are not really going to be doing a lot of research into the movies before watching them. A lot of the geeky sorts will of course but that is a small part of the movie going public. Establishing a cool shared world in the movies is a great idea but it needs to be done right otherwise it could backfire and alienate people. |

I loved the first movie, but my main complaint was the last half an our and that whole fight sequence being a bit weak. If nothing else, I think this movie is going to kick butt when it comes to the fight scenes. Midnight showing, here I come... |
