Well with the upcoming mini comic book series coming "X-Force: Sex and Violence" exploring the relationship between Logan and Domino, what do you think of this pair? Do you currently consider this a the best X-couple and best girl for Wolverine? I mean I just about had it with Logan losing girl he truly loves such as Mariko and Silver Fox in tragic loss. Domino has a mutual respect/feelings for Logan, because she used to be used for Government experiment project just like with Logan. Domino seemed to be the best one for true love for Logan and will survive with Logan's curse of women loss. Plus Domino has the mutant powers of Luck!

Even some of the Interviewers found this couple awesome and the fans in general I heard.

Craig Kyle: What Wolverine and Domino can’t have sex with, they will kill. It’s that simple.

A painted three-issue mini-series starring Wolverine and Domino that comes out in late 2009 from writers Craig Kyle and Chris Yost, and artist Gabriele Dell'Otto. It is a team-up between Wolverine and Domino, after she shows up at the X-Compound, badly beaten and looking for help. She tells Wolverine that she's being hunted by the Assassin's Guild, and he vows to help her. However, she isn't telling Wolverine everything -- so look for a twist, said editor Barber.

Quote:

YOST: It's Wolverine and Domino in a team-up. It's not an X-Force mission per se, it's something personal. Domino has a hit put out on her and Wolverine and Domino go out to get that hit taken off of her. It's almost like a road movie with these two. They've had a past–I wouldn't call it a relationship, but they know each other. They're up against the worst killers on the planet.

Quote:

Yost: Domino has always been one of the X-Force characters and has a history with the team. We brought her into the series to kind of lighten up the mood. You have all of these dark, angsty characters going through this horrible thing. Meanwhile you have Domino going "Psh! You guys are crazy!" So she lightens up the moment. Now, Grant Morrison did a story a while back that put them in almost kind of a… sex buddy light, but the bottom line is they have a history together, and that history includes sex. Like Craig mentioned, it's something we've wanted to touch on in the main series, but we've got a lot going on there. This is a place where we can focus on the two of them and really expand their relationship.

Quote:

Kyle: Wolverine and her have a great chemistry and we've really only seen bits and pieces of it. I think there's also a lot of respect [between them], the fact that they're equals in the same game. They're kind of fighting each other and the threats they'll face on many levels – sexual chemistry, mentally, physical combat. There are so many levels they'll be engaging each other and their enemies that it creates a lot of tension and a lot of places to have some breath between. We think they're a pretty fantastic couple to spend some time with. I think people reacted really well to the cover that Mike Choi and Sonia Oback did for a previous, and this is just expanding on that kind of an idea and opening it up to some really intense moments.

Also there is a rumor about Domino and Wolverine getting together in the animated series of Wolverine and the X-men.

TZ: Chris, I freak out every month when I read X-Force, and I'm very excited about this Wolverine/Domino story. Can you talk about that at all?

CY: Yeah. It’s a three issue limited series called X-Force: Sex and Violence --

SB: Nice.

CY: -- And it delivers on that promise. So, Domino is originally a mercenary and she's got some stuff in her life that kind of comes back to bite her. And Wolverine gets pulled into it, and its kind of like the two of them kind of like bickering and fighting for like three issues.

TZ: Anything else besides bickering and fighting?

CY: . . . A little bit. Issue 1 is violence. Issue 2 is sex. And then Issue 3 is a magic combination of the two. In all seriousness, those two characters have a history together you know in that they've gotten physical before in more ways than one and in the normal X-Force book, you know we've got a lot of big stories and we don't have a lot of time for the character work, you know? But in Sex and Violence, it’s just those two characters for the most part, we really get to see their relationship.

TZ: I'm really excited because I think that's a great relationship to look at. And I think Wolverine and Domino getting together is awesome. And why not see it in the animated series as well because Domino is also in the show? We can see Steven having something with Domino.

SB: I'm available *laughs*.

CY: You never know. In animation, usually our motto is, "There's no time for love, Dr. Jones," but I think fans love to see that stuff so you never know.

Hm, i didn't know about the animated show, so i'm thinking Craig Kyle and Yost are trying to make them a couple in the marvel verse.
TBH it would be good if they got together, after all she got a luck factor working for her, something logan's other girlfriends didn't have, and most didn't end up to good....

Yeah, Domino and Wolverine should be made the official best 4ever couple in Marvel Universe next to Rogue/Gambit, MJ/Peter, Enma/Cyclops, and Storm/Black Panther. They should make Domino and Logan stay together, because its getting really tiring of Logan losing so many women he loved in his life. I'm glad they picked Domino for Logan, I hope for forever.

Honestly it never worked that well for me. Well as a major exclusive relationship it doesn't, that is just not really Dom's nature. I have no issues with them having sex or being casual dating. The problem though is she is not really Wolverine's type for anything more. He does go for strong and willful women but never killers. They are all gentler then he is an have a calming influence. Domino would bring out the worst in him.

You don't know really, I mean the upcoming Mini-series comic is supposed to explore more about the relationship between Wolverine and Domino. They do have a close friendship. Domino still fits with Wolverine better than most women, and unlike with the other women. I don't think Domino is much of a killer. She only does what she do best, much like with Wolverine.

The Interviewers and general fans seemed to have a liking with the pair and this maybe possible that Logan and Domino will be a official permanent couple, much like Rogue/Gambit, and Spiderman/MJ.

She's a killer. She helped found the Six Pack which was a brutal mercenary team that was shown to have killed crowds of generally innocent people that got in the way of their missions. She has a shoot first and ask questions later kind of mind set and most of the time she's not trying to wound. She has done assassinations too, including one in Cable and Deadpool that lead to Cable being installed as a leader of the country (whose name escapes me at this moment. Rumesomething I think.

Basically even when she was with Cable, she was a free spirit and likely to go off and do her own thing. She really doesn't seem like the type to want to settle down and Logan could use that stabilizing influence.

I didn't miss this, did I? It feels a very long time since it was announced.

I for one and of the camp that I prefer to see Wolverine with women who have a calming effect on him. I liked his time dating Storm, I liked the side that was brought out when he was around Mariko, he obviously cherished the "peaceful" times that he remembered from Silverfox (before she became an evil Hydra agent or whatever), and I think it's no coincidence that he married a woman named Itsu--the Japanese translation for "peace."

I like his flings as much as anyone: it's part of his character. But having Dom and Wolverine end up together "permanently" (if that word means anything in comic-verse) like MJ/Spidey and Gambit/Rogue? I don't think I like the balance. Wolverine has already become a lot more coarse in my eyes after (relatively) recent events like M-Day, X-Force, and losing all his usual sidekicks (they've tried replacing Kitty and Jubes with newbies such as Armor and Pixie, but it just isn't working for me). Having him paired up with a woman like Domino all the time just reinforces a side of him that I feel has been over-emphasized a bit too much in the last few years.

I do tend to agree. Flings are one thing but he really needs a peaceful and decent woman long term. But it also has to be someone that can protect themselves so it is a pretty limited roster of women. Of course I was always a fan of Wolverine and Jean so I am definitely biased. (Not that Mariko didn't make a good match).

As for the LS no you didn't miss it. Due to the all painted art it is very slow to arrive. Last I heard issue 2 was done and 3 was being worked on. They aren't going to solicit it until all the art is finished so we don't end up with 3 month delays in the issues which I think is smart.
