Just 10 minutes ago i recieved a phonecall of the hospital, telling me my grandmother, someone who ran a bar for 20 years and even helped raising me, passed away. Seems in sticking in Belgium for a bit longer then i expected..... |

I dont understand why. She survived cancer, she was still witty, still friendly. It went downhill ever since i went to England..... |

I am sorry for your loss bud. I lost my grandmother a few years back and my situation was similar to yours because my grandmother helped raise me. You have all of my best wishes and hopes in this sad time. |

My condolences. I lost mine in 2005. It wasn't easy because she had alzheimer. I hope you to be strong in times like this. |

Wow... sorry to hear that. All the best in dealing with the grief. That's rough. |

I'm so sorry for your loss, Gorvar. My grandmother helped raise me, too, and when she passed away it was very, very rough. I know how hard it is and all the questions you're having right now. *hugs* --Raja |

I'm sorry for your loss, Gorvar. I too know what it's like to lose a grandparent who was fundamental in shaping who you are. |

Thanks guys, that really cheers me up. Still, i feel a bit guilty, it started to go downhill after i left Belgium to study in England, and more then once my nan said it would be the death of her if i left. I came back friday evening, talked to her saterday and yesterday. Saterday was the last day i could talk to her when she was completely sane. I will never forget that smile i saw on her cheeks that day..... |

Gorvar, I add my voice to those extending sympathy, kind thoughts, and support at such a sad time. Not to sound trite -- but as long as you remember her, she will always live in your heart. |
