Who do you think Logan is closest to in the X-Men? I think that Logan is closest to Kurt Wagner, Ororo, Kitty Pryde, and Rogue. |

I believe he's becoming closer to Emma Frost, as a friend of course, since the beginning of Origins too, and that's because sher earned his trust helping often Logan in his personal quest. On the other hand, while I think Logan had more respect to Cyclops during the Morrison era, now Logan may have lost that respect and maybe more since the creation of X-Force. |

Don't forget Piotr. I'd put Piotr ahead of Rogue. I think these characters are mainstays as Logan's "family". Outside of those, it fluctuates wildly depending on the writers' whims. I do remember a moment in Wolverine #111 (I think...?), when the X-men went out to a bar and Logan felt out of place, musing that it was times like that, that he missed "Kitty, Kurt and Jubilee". Whether he meant he felt those were his closest or simply the ones that made him relax socially (difference?) is up for debate. Edited by creaky, Sep 26 2009, 06:02 PM.

Jubilee first, then Kitty then Kurt is my opinion then Piotr fourth and Storm fifth. |

I think he's mates with everyone in the X-men, put the Second wave of them and his 'daughters' the most. |

I would mostly agree with this, except switch Kitty and Jubilee's positions and add Rogue as a sixth. Ironically Logan is closer to Alex than he is to Scott, because of the Meltdown series. |

Nahh he is closer to Jubilee then Kitty and I have canon proof. When he was Death and they were trying to snap him out of it, he nearly killed Kitty but would not lift a finger against Jubes. |

It doesn't seem like it was quite that simple: first, during the chase/fight, Psylocke was doing some pretty heavy telepathic mindwork enhanced with Cerebro to get everyone through to him and by the time Jubilee reached him, we had already seen plenty of cracks in Logan's programming. Earlier in the story, he could have killed both Kurt and Warren easily, but chose to run instead. Kitty was starting to get through to him, too. Second, Jubes blasted him from behind and approached him when he was dazed and his guard was down, whereas Kitty fought him heads-on as an enemy. The first approach is naturally bound to have more success than the latter. Here's a summary. |

Yep she attacked him and then stood right between him and Kitty and basically dared him to go through her and he wouldn't. Just like he left his friends in battle during Operation Zero Tolerance to follow a hint of her scent in the wind. He tends to treat Kitty with respect and friendship as more of an equal (or maybe a kid sister) he treats Jubilee as a daughter. |
