Well first of all Rogue did not use her abilities flawlessly against Ares. In fact it nearly killed her, she had to be forcibly separated from the God by Danger and Gambit. Just saying it is another sign that she does not have them under control. What she did flawlessly was use her head. She outsmarted Moonstone and was able to talk Trance down without her powers. While I do think she works well for helping the children I stick by the statement that her powers are not a good reason for it. As for Gambit joining X-Force? I'd go with a big meh there. I got that general idea myself but I am not a fan of the character and think X-Force is already pretty full with the current roster. |

I must agree I love where this series is going!  Nice to see the status quo changed in a more natural way, to see how things evolve and shift in new more logical directions rather than the usual bam! surprise event... Gambit better stay where he is for now...X-Force works best as a small team, imo and Gambit, although the undercover guy, is not that gritty. |

I am mostly glad we will still have a series where the younger background characters can have a moment or two in the sun before being shuffled to the back ground. It is nice to actually see some of the other characters that are not part of one of the main rosters. |
