Well, Exiles has officially been canceled as of issue #06, which will be double-sized to wrap things up. As I've stated before, the Exiles brand was already dead, there was no point in trying to resurrect it. The current book actually was a step up from recent stories, but the concept and brand as a whole no longer had a leg to stand on. Shall we have a moment of silence for the once great, then awful Exiles? |

Truly. I enjoyed the old series before Chris Claremont took over. The World Tour was a fun romp through alternate Marvel Worlds past, and at its best, Exiles was one of the funniest books Marvel ever produced. |

That it was, for a time, when Judd Winnick was writing the title, it was also one of Marvel's most enjoyable books period. I credit Exiles as one of the reasons I'm the comic fan I am today. When I came back to comics and needed a gateway series, Exiles was among the titles I chose to pursue. |

I did enjoy the original for the first half of the run or so. As soon as the ditched Blink though it seemed to go down hill. While I'm not really surprised that this series did not take off I am a little disappointed. It definitely had some potential and it would have been interesting to see where it went. I'm a fan of the alternate universe type story as long as it is done well. And I hate that Blink is going to go back into Limbo. I love that character. |

If I were Marvel I'd simply bring Blink and Morph into the 616 reality. It's not like they have anything better to do, and both of their 616 counterparts are long dead so they wouldn't be stepping on any toes. Though I do question Blink to some extent, we already have so very many mutant teleporter types. One of the thing about M-day and subsequent deaths is that it reduced mutant-type redundancy. So that might be a step backwards, no matter how great it would be. |

It would be nice to just have them both in 616 and be done with it. Nocturne made the leap and she is second tier for the title. They could even explain it that this was the real Clarice and her power overload in Phalanx junted her to another dimension. |

That is just obvious enough to work. |
