Samurai Posts: 1,092 Group: Members Member #54 Joined: March 10, 2009	This was one of the single best X-Force issues I've read in a while. I did enjoy the Messiah War crossover, but to be perfectly honest, between the issue where they first entered the future as a cliffhanger and now, I felt like we've been treading water. We're now back to the core X-Force store and it's bloody, violent, and satisfying. Spoiler: click to toggle The Leper Queen is dead, put out of her misery. X-23 is captured by HAMMER. Boom-Boom, Surge, and Hellion are rescued-ish. Rahne is back in the picture, seeing her under-utilized subplot finally come back to the forefront. There is heavy foreshadowing towards the Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men crossover, which this issue quite obviously precedes. And perhaps the most exciting element for me was the fact that Craig Kyle and Chris Yost have, as of this issue, introduced the MRD, an organization they wrote into the Wolverine and the X-Men cartoon into the comic canon. I'm curious to see how Surge and Hellion interacting with X-Force will alter their mission. Only time shall tell. Fantastic issue. Edited by Ace, Jul 23 2009, 01:25 AM.

I mostly agreed, it was a very good issue though I had a few nitpicks on it, mostly that it was pretty spoiled on what was going to happen and they are doing another cliffhanger type ending where we really don't need one.
