I noticed those earlier. Most of the X-solicits are actually classified. But there were a few interesting tidbits. What's next for Astonishing, Deadpool trying to join the X-Men, Deadpool issue #900 (that's so very Deadpool), Origins is continuing past the Romulus arc and he'll be fighting Hulk's son Skaar, and others.

And then there's the following previews on Marvel's site...

http://marvel.com/news/comicstories.8777.FIRST_LOOK~colon~_October_2009_Spidey_Previews Spidey.

http://marvel.com/news/comicstories.8779.FIRST_LOOK~colon~_October_2009_Bonus_Previews Bonus.

http://marvel.com/news/comicstories.8781.FIRST_LOOK~colon~_October_~apos~09_Smashing_Previews Hulk.

EDIT: I just checked out the Hulk previews. Apparently Wolverine and Daken are going to be taking on Hulk and Skaar in Incredible Hulk. That's actually kind of cool, ha.

Yeah I skip the Marvel previews generally since they tend to not be very X-related. CBR has the X-Titles and Newsrama the event stuff most of the time.

Since SDCC is this weekend starting on Thurs I doubt much will be revealed before their panels. I will try to post whatever X-Men bits come up though once everything is unclassified.

Sounds like a plan.

On an non-X-related note, I'm very excited about the coming months in Spidey comics. We have a new X-Men Forever-style Clone Saga limited series launching, Amazing is doing a 3 part "Who Is Ben Reilly?" story-arc, and according to the Web of Spider-Man solicit, Kaine is returning as well.

I grew up on the Clone Saga, and while I recognize its faults, I also recognize that there were many elements I was quite fond of. I'm greatly looking forward to this newfound appreciation for that era.

Never read much Spidey and haven't seen anything on the clone saga beyond the fan complaints about the series.

Well it's an interesting story, if you have the time.

Oh I read the posts on the subject but really without reading the comic involved it's hard to get a good grasp of the story and the impact of the issues.

It's best to not have the context and impact, there are better ways to waste time than reading the worst parts of the Clone Saga. Ha.

Kind of excited that the New Mutants Solicit is classified. It's such a good series I hope that means they have plans for it going forward and will make it matter.
