Secret Agent Posts: 575 Group: Members Member #13 Joined: January 31, 2009	It really does appear to me that Marvel is marketing Daken as a bigger, more twisted, more intense version of Wolverine for a new generation of readers who may be bored by the old characters. Sort of along the lines of, "Hey, Daken's waaaay badder than his old man! He's not your father's Wolverine!"

With his natural abilities he's an even more effective manipulator than Osborn or Romulus. All it takes is a few subtle words and the seeds are planted. Undisputed Ruler of Comicdom Posts: 3,829 Group: Global Moderators Member #62 Joined: April 2, 2009	Not really the best one for this since I don't much care but since no one else has responded yet here is what I remember. Basically more of the manipulation. Daken is playing the Fantastic Four against the Avengers (Dark) in some smart and subtle ways. He plants some seeds of doubt in Osborn's mind against Bullseye and then goes to see the FF knowing Bullseye will follow. He convinces them (at least partially) that he does not want to be part of the Avengers any more and then has the Thing beat him up and toss him out a window so it does not look like he talked to them. Of course Bullseye called Osborn when Daken went to the FF and that was videotaped and then so was the beating he got. Spoiler: click to toggle At the end it looks like Daken and Osborn worked this out together to make the FF look bad
