Byrne Robotics > Will this give some ideas to Marvel? John Byrne has been talking about the possibility of returning to the X-Men in a project similar to Chris Claremont's X-MEN FOREVER. He would take on a book using UNCANNY #143 as the jumping off point if he was approached by Marvel and given some assurances about the book. John doesn't chime in until about page 7 or so. I'd be absolutely over the moon if this happened - although I've switched to trades recently, this is one book I would HAVE to buy monthly. Make the call, Marvel!!! |

I wish that marvel would have let him finish the X-Men: Hidden Years series. |

I like Byrne but I think this would be too much of the same thing and have a hard time finding it's voice. In the past for 616 we already have Uncanny X-Men First Class, Wolverine First Class and X-Men Forever. Byrne's would be reasonably close to the time frame of both First Classes. |
