This story is pretty much the origins of Peter Parker's parents, Mary Parker and Richard Parker. This issue opens up by explaining how they both met and their last mission together before Peter is born. Richard Parker was recruited to the CIA by Nick Fury. While working for the CIA, he met Mary Fitzpatrick and the two of them fell in love with each other. Mary would begin working on-field assignments to work with Richard, while using the cover that they were just a married couple. On one particular mission, the couple was sent to investigate Baron Von Strucker, who had captured a Canadian ally named Logan (Wolverine). Richard and Mary would be successful in rescuing Logan from the Strucker. Shortly afterwards, they learned that Mary was pregnant, and was congratulated by Logan. After Peter was born, Mary and Richard continued their careers. This forced them to leave Peter with Richard's brother, Ben Parker, and his wife, May Parker. Not a bad story and one more connection that ties Logan to Spider-man. I can't get enough of seeing these two together, they are like Superman and Batman team-ups, you are just always happy to see them together.

I have that issue in dutch, and it's pretty good. I really liked how Logan has somewhat been involved in Peter's life ever since he was just 'sired'. Wonser if Logan ever told Pete he know his parents... I understand he couldn't before due to the memory loss and BND....-shivers- but he could tell him now can he? |

He may not even relate the two. That was a one-off mission decades ago, one of many. And Parker is a pretty generic name. Really, he may not even realize that those people were Peter's parents. |

He might recognize the scent... But I guess we'll never know for sure unless the writers follow up on it. We had Logan's memory all screwed up for the longest time. So anything is possible. |
