Not a bad book in my opinion.

Logan is out relaxing in Canada when trouble once again drops on his lap. A plane crashes nearby because of two drug dealers and Bruce Banner. They take a stewardess and a kid hostage, only the kid was bit by his poisonous pet snake. Banner and Logan team up to save the woman and kid from the drug dealers, before the poison overcomes his heart.

The story introduces a new villain from Logan's past named The Shredder. He's not all that interesting in my opinion, but makes for a fun arch nemesis for Logan to fight. Supposedly he knew Logan back when he was "young", meaning we can assume these two knew each other before World War 2.

The art is great for the series.

Writer: Bruce Jones
Artist: Scott Kolins

A pretty poor book, with a comically awful villian. The Shredder displays all the worst excesses of a cliché Wolverine foe, and he shares his name with a guy that couldn't kill four turtles.

C'mon now don't drag The Shredder into this. He's awesome! ;)

Notice I didn't say it was a good book, just not a terrible one. And if you just finished reading THIS you might agree with me, because after that arc my standards aren't incredibly high.

Nothing super fantastic, but it did have some amusing moments between Banner and Logan. Plus Logan tells the Hulk to "open wide" while he shoves six claws down his throat. Now that I think of it, I enjoyed this a bit more then the last couple of issues of Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk.

:eyebrow:
