I think there's this mixture of masochism/pre-teeny delight that I take out of these things, but I don't want to analyze it. Without further ado, let's discuss some horrible books! I enjoy classics, and what one might call 'good literature' but I also enjoy fluff; books that I won't admit to anyone but my closest friends that I read. For example... Mary Jane Loves Spider-Man.

I enjoy reading Romance novels.....even if it's just for the sake to laugh at how stupid the protaginists are. |

For an Ongoing I'd say yes. If you include limited then no. |

Honestly? I'm not going to call these horrible by any means, but I didn't admit that I read comic books at all until about a year ago. I don't think I'm ever going to really admit that I read fanfiction, let alone *write* it . . . . |

You know what I mean. ![]() I personally think there's a fair bit of good fanfiction out there, but when most "outsiders" hear the word they immediately jump to lemons, slash, Mary-Sues, and poorly-written emotion-dumps.

Very true, unfortunately. So much fanfiction is poorly written, with horrible grammatical and spelling errors, no editing, and out-of-character dialogue. These things stop the flow of the story for me, bringing it to a grinding halt even if the plot is interesting. I'll admit to always being on the lookout for good reading material with Logan/Wolverine as its major character. If that material happens to be fanfiction, so be it. A good story with well-drawn, believable characters (regardless of their "special gifts") will get me every time. |

I'm the same way. Still, the stereotype makes me keep it a secret, even if there have been times that I want to have some bragging rights about what I write to the people around me. Well, at least I get support from my readers.
