Pretty much the most comics I'm picking up in one week. Not including my non related Wolverine stuff.

  • Dark Avengers #6
  • Dark Avengers / Uncanny X-Men: Utopia #1
  • Dark Reign : Elektra #4
  • Dark Wolverine #75
  • Ms. Marvel #40
  • New Avengers #54
  • Timestorm 2009 / 2099: X-Men
  • Uncanny X-Men #512
  • Wolverine Noir #3
  • Wolverine: First Class #16
  • Wolverine Weapon X #3
  • Avengers / Invaders #12
  • X-Men Forever #2
  • X-Force #6
  • Astonishing X-Men #30
  • Amazing Spider-Man #598

This is including Daken appearances in all fairness, but it is still a lot of Wolverine for one week.

So you're not getting X-Men Forever 2? I did my count early for X-titles alone I have 11:

Astonishing X-Men 30
Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men Utopia 1 (Gotta get the variant of Logan beating up Daken ;)
Dark Wolverine 75
Timestorm 2009/2099 X-Men
Uncanny X-Men 512
Wolverine Noir 3
Wolverine First Class 16
Wolverine Weapon x 3
X-Factor 45
X-Force 16
X-Men Forever 2

Additional Marvel titles (haven't even looked at the non-Marvel stuff)
Avengers The Initiative 25
Avengers/Invaders 12
Dark Avengers 6
Kick-Ass 7
New Avengers 54
Runaways 3 #11
Secret Warriors 5
Squadron Supreme 2 #12
Terror Inc.: Apocalypse Soon 3
Thunderbolts 133

So 21 titles in Marvel alone. No wonder they love me at the comic store.

How is Secret Warriors ? And Terror Inc: Apocalypse Soon?

I had my eye on those two titles but I've been too busy to check on them. I heard wonderful things about Kick Ass.

I liked the first Terror Inc Max and this is more of the same. Terror is a cool character and works very well in a more adult setting. Secret Warriors is ok but not amazing. i haven't gotten fully into the new characters yet but some of the things that are being shown about SHIELD are pretty stunning. Kick-Ass has it moments too though it's so delayed and movie focused not sure how it is going to work. Plus it's supposed to the real life and it's not very realistic. Still pretty fun read I'd just get it in trade if possible.

I haven't read the Avengers The Initiative, you think it's better the the other Avengers books? Or second to New Avengers?

It does look interesting.

The original run was yes. Currently it's kind of a drift since the Initiative is more or less dead. But it looks like they are redoing the focus so we'll see. The first arc introduced a new group of potential heroes and you got to know and follow them. Lots of good character moments and a few shocks along the way.

I wish I got into X-Factor. It looks a lot better then Uncanny and Legacy.

it's one of the consistently best x-titles being put out. David took a bunch of second-stringer B-List (at least) characters and made them interesting. Light on action but heavy on characters and drama. Definitely something I would recommend though best if you pick up the Madrox LS first.

Thunderbolts looks really good too. =( Norman Osborn is getting a lot of action in that title huh? I can't wait to see what Nick Fury is going to do.

I plan on sticking with X-Men Forever until I can't bare it anymore. So I'll chime in until something happens that makes me give up.

Thunderbolts had a bunch of Norman Osborn action since he was the head of that group first. He does still appear though as the big wig but doesn't do much on the missions and such. He's using the squad as his little black mission behind the scenes team now.
