Wow. We get like a X-Men title once a week huh? I knew we got Uncanny twice a month, but with the addition of Uncanny First Class, I'm starting to finally realize it.

(I don't count Wolverine as X-Men, it's just a weird quirk of mine.)

So anyone else looking forward to this issue? ^o^;

I am looking forward to it but with a bit of unease. Considering this is the end of Xavier's journey and knowing that he is going to be joining the Dark X-Men leaves me thinking they are going to do something radical with his character. Not that I am a major Professor X fan but I think he has been changed enough recently.

It's funny. This is one of those books I don't really look forward to in the same way I get excited about Deadpool, Wolverine Origins, or Messiah War. Yet it's one of the feel titles that leave me with a overwhelming sense of satisfaction. Last year we saw Daken released from Romulus' control, last month we saw Rogue freed from her curse, and in this issue....

That aside the ending left me wanting more.

It was a good issue. It made Xavier, dare I say it, actually kind of cool? We never really get to see him cut loose. And it was well written and smart. Be interesting to see what happens with Exodus.

Is this writer sticking with Legacy?

I hope he does.

I believe he intends to, but I don't think it's going to be called Legacy for much longer.

Well it's still Legacy until at least September it's just shifting focus to Rogue now. It's supposed to be sort of a revolving cast. We'll see what happens in Oct once the Dark Reign crossover finishes.

One thing that struck me after reading this issue, was an interesting coincidence. The comic that ends the crossover in September is called Exodus and we now have Exodus heading to San Fran. Could he be the answer to the Sentry and Ares they keep talking about? A high level tpath can pretty much neutralize Sentry and his TK is strong enough to counter most powerhouses. Hmm...

That's a very clever observation. That could very well be the case. And if so, is Exodus friend or foe to the X-Men? Perhaps he'll even join the team.

Well he wants to help mutantkind survive and enter into a new era. Not sure that he would ever join the team but I think he would fall into the friend/helper category. Add in Voght, Random and Tempo and it's a pretty effective little group that could be very helpful.

For those that don't know you'd have

Exodus - Telepath and Telekinetic of a high order, also can teleport long distances and heal
Amelia Voght - Changes herself and others objects into a insubstantial mist.
Random - Shape morphing, variable strength, counters powers aimed at him, fires biomatter
Tempo - Limited range time manipulation (usually as speed) and flight.

Oops forgot Omega Sentinel - Strength, high level weapons, flight and regeneration.

Looking at this section of his wiki page, it seems as if Exodus could very well be the most powerful mutant on the planet. And that same section gives prominence to your theory, as he has experience with X-Men and Avenger teams (albeit not in their current forms).
