At the end of the issue, he manipulated the Fantastic Four into going after Bullseye. So we'll see how that plays out in the issues to come.

Daken has proven himself capable of wearing many masks, but who's the real man underneath? As one of Norman Osborn’s Avengers, he has it all: power, fame, access...but what if it's not enough? Could Wolverine's son have a heart after all—and if so, will it be the Fantastic Four who help him discover it? Or will they find themselves on the receiving end of a betrayal so huge it will put them at war with the Dark Avengers? Part 3 (of 3) Parental Advisory …$2.99

I love Marjorie Liu's writing style, so I know it will be epic.

Honestly I didn't hate this issue as much as I was expecting. While i doubt I will ever really warm to him as a character but there were some juvenile amusing antics. Still I'm not sure of the point of the series though or what he is really trying to accomplish. Bringing the system down from within is somewhat noble but I don't see how he can really benefit.

Previously Daken hasn't really done anything remotely interesting during his stay in Dark Avengers. So from a fan perspective I suppose that was enjoyment in itself, though from your perspective I can see why you might find it boring. And if the previews for the next couple of issues is a misdirection, I might find myself sharing you view on this entire storyline.

...and a popped collar, no less. The telltale sign that we are dealing with a total douchebag.
