Looking at the picture of Jean Grey and Logan kissing in the Wolverine/Jean Grey thread I noticed how large Wolverine's biceps are. Those things are fricking huge, and it got me to thinking and remembering how broad across the shoulders and chest Logan is. I mean the guy only stands 5'3" tall according to the Marvel Universe handbooks but he also weighs like 300 pounds bcause of the metal on his bones. The added weight would explain his broad physique, because he would need that much muscle just to move that heavy frame. My point is that the comic writers seem to forget how heavy Logan really is and sometimes he is knocked down and tossed around pretty easily by just normal guys. It makes me wonder because muscles and metal bones included hitting Wolverine has got to feel like hitting a brick wall. I mean they showed a little of it in the first X-Men movie, but it is sometimes forgotten in the comic. Edited by Templedog, Jun 11 2009, 02:29 PM.

Keep in mind too that he still weighs like 230 without the metal, he is just very densely muscled They mention the impact too at times and his weight at times when they remember. I know that punches from him are superhuman because the metal makes his fist into brass knuckles and he can get more force and leverage due to the weight and metal in his arms. I remember a few times when someone has hit him and nearly broken their hand but that one definitely gets over looked a lot. |
