![]() What If The New Fantastic Four had Remained a Team? The most unusual things happened to me while I was reading this book. I had no idea I had read this and I bought it in the faith that this books was going to be brand new to me. Then as I read through the book I found out that I read this a long time ago when I was a kid. It wasn't a new experience, but I definitely got to read it from a brand new perspective. Definitely a strange and bizarre feeling, but still a good one. Has that ever happened to you? Not much to say about this book, it sort of "exists" but doesn't really serve any purpose like the others I've read in the past. The Fantastic Four don't survive the events in issue #349, so Logan, Spider-man, Hulk, and Ghost Rider take over the family business. The story is told from Mary Jane's point of view which is fun, but the ending sort of leaves you scratching your head and wondering what was the point. I mean there is this all build up where Spider-Man complains about the finances, twice he meintions how costly everything is to keep the place running. Yet it ends with the team throwing in the towel and calling it quits. One can assume the moral of the story is that "nothing can replace the original Fantastic Four", but that is really hard to swallow considering everything these four characters have been through. I suppose maybe I should just shut up and be happy with seeing these four characters team up again, however I can't help it if my personal dislike of Reed Richards slips every now and again. Still I can at least gloat about how Wolverine has officially joined all three of the most recognizable super hero teams. <3 ![]() Here is a Review from a different perspective. |

Keep in mind he was a Defender too briefly. Not that that team is a major player but it has been around a long time and is a recognizable name at least within the Marvel community. That was in Secret Defenders #1. of course Wolverine was only in one arc I believe and was mostly to garner some buzz. But still it counts. |
