Spoiler: click to toggle It happened. It finally happened. I knew Mike Carey wouldn't let me down. When he started this Legacy run, and included Rogue, I knew he'd do this for us. I just knew it. And he did! Rogue now has full control of her powers! She can touch whoever she wants, whenever she wants and absorb what she wants, when she wants. After nearly 3 decades of "I luv yall, but I cahnt touch yall so I'm done gonna' whine about it"... it's finally over! The madness has ceased. That was an alright storyline for a few years, but after nearly 30? No. It wasn't alright anymore. It was difficult to cheer her, Gambit, or anyone else connected to her on when you knew it was going to amount to nothing. I got to the point where although I liked the pairing of Gambit and Rogue, I didn't want to ever see either of them again in that role until her powers were under control. And now they are. Now we are free. I cannot begin to tell you how ecstatic that makes me. Edited by Ace, May 29 2009, 12:33 AM.

Undisputed Ruler of Comicdom Posts: 3,829 Group: Global Moderators Member #62 Joined: April 2, 2009	Well I am definitely reviewing this one so I did not want to go too far into it. But yes it's about time they actually fixed that. The explanation felt a little silly but whatever, it's done and now we can finally move on from it. I'll get into more detail when I do my review this weekend. Still not sure on Gambit Rogue pairing since I don't like Gambit at all, but i can live with it better now.

Spoiler: click to toggle His path to redemption continues forward, as he's the one who gives Rogue control of her powers (as he promised to do years ago), and finally makes peace with Danger. Back on Rogue, I think one of the things that makes me happiest is that there's no impetus to ever undo the change. A perfect example of this would be Wolverine's amnesia. You could say "Oh no, I forgot my whole history again.", but there's absolutely no reason to do so because we the reader already know it. So saying his memory is gone would accomplish nothing. The same goes for this, there's no reason to go backwards.

She can borrow powers and render people unconscious but she can no longer kill and does not keep any powers permanently. I though her with Ms. Marvel's powers was a bit over kill.
