Really good issue and more awesome moments from the amazing Deadpool. I probably will never ever like Bishop ever again. But I have a new fond likeness for Stryfe. And whoa..to the final page.

No matter what they do now, Bishop is a ruined character yes. You can't have someone shoot the prof and destroy the future to kill a kid ever be likeable again. Which is a shame. I never much cared for him as a character but he had his moments and some of his solo stuff was pretty decent. |

I don't know about ruined. They could always retcon in that he was brainwashed/controlled by some villain or that it's not the real Bishop, just a doppleganger/clone, etc. But I really hate that they did this to him, even though I was never a Bishop fan. Because it's not even well-done! He doesn't come off as even remotely intelligent or reasonable about the whole thing - he went from a rational, heroic guy to a complete lunatic villain just for the heck of it. It's so obvious that the writers haven't properly thought out his motivation or given him any credit in the brains department. They just wanted a black-hearted villain to give the story more drama. There are millions of different possible futures, why would Bishop go to this extreme just for the off-chance possibility that his particular one might still come about? Especially, since he's already altered history by going back in time? Edited by creaky, May 28 2009, 05:48 PM.

I don't think it is revealed fully, all we know is that she has something to do with his future. And from what I seen from Layla Miller's adventures in the future, the world is pretty shitty. The fact the Bishop is playing the tragic villain card doesn't bother me. Messiah War still rocks. |

Well it would be hard to make the controlled/not really him thing stick for Bishop since they went into the how and why of it and his motivations in the LS they just finished Time and Life of Lucas Bishop. |

Neither really. Wolverine had a brief moment but it was pretty fleeting. Deadpool had some better scenes but no action. |

Kinda feel sorry for him. Being stuck for a 1000 years, only to come back and only fight like, 2 times. |
