I think this comic goes back to the old Marvel Knights series. A lot darker and more adult then the standard fare but not over the top like the Mature readers one's tend to be. The characters are a little but off but there is a lot of action and I like seeing the older characters returning. It's a fun series and they aren't afraid to push the envelope a bit. |

They also made Rahne, Domino, Laura, and Boomer smoking hot. Too bad Boomer "died" though. Do you think Yost will stay on this book for a few more years? ![]() ![]() ![]()

I really REALLY like this book. The art is fantastic, the story is awesome, the fights are bloodier then half raw steak (?) and i f-ing love it all over. I bought this ever since i picked up the Messiah Complex Chapter where they sqaure off against the reavers for the first time, and i lvoed it. These X-men f-ing kill everyone! That's hardcore. And when i saw the costumes in the teasers Marvel gave us, i wanted it so bad. The 1st issue got me hooked and i never let go ever since, i even enjoyed 'Ain no Dog'. The only commentary i have is there isn't enough fighting in each issue, you either get bloody issue or a talky issue ( it's just my inner Khorne talking here) and no Deadpool, which they remedied in Messiah War. Overall, it's awesome and deserves every good thing ever in comic books. Hell, they should make a move about it. |

My big issue is that it's not very X-men in nature. But considering I loved the Marvel Knights stuff and have been saying that Wolverine needs his own Max limited for years..this is about as close as it comes to that. I kind of hope they haven't killed off Boomer permanently but then i was never a big fan of her character so it does not really matter to me that much. |

I agree. It is actually pretty rare to see Logan "accomplish" something with his claws. Usually the enemy is too powerful for the claws to effect them. Or he is killing a useless and pointless robot with his claws. Or the person has a healing factor and his claws are ineffective. Or the book is aimed for kids, and the claws are made for show. Don't even get me started on the millions of times the claws perfectly glaze a enemy like Punisher..... grrrr ![]() Then we finally get this book that shows how dangerous his claws are and I really do appreciate that. I don't mind Boomer being dead, (even though her outfit was smoking) but I really want to see Warpath and Logan avenge her death. Hopefully they at least give the Leper Queen some payback. -damn!

Well she was sort of the basis for Jubilee's character and I respect that but she never really grew and matured like Jubes did. She was just a dead end as far as those things go and therefore never really got too attached to her. The X-Terminators was a fun group though I do admit that. If they had made them their own series I probably would feel differently. |

why do the hot chicks allways die first?! -cries- Well i'm pretty sure Logan and Warpath wll have a two man war against the Friends of humanity. That would actually be cool, Logan and James go rogue and basicly re-paint every Purifier allied base with a new coating of blood. Cyclops being the douche he is thinks Logan is going to overkill sends the rest of X-force after the two, including Hezipah! ok i got a furry fetish, sue me..... At least you aren't going on about Rahne being hot in wolf form. That would be scary. |
