On most forums the term "Bricks" are used to describe powerhouses such as the Juggernaut, The Incredible Hulk, and The Sentry. Heavy hitters who usually make quick work of whoever they are up against. A lot of people see Logan's main weakness is against "Bricks", however on more then a few occasions Logan has been able to "hold his own" or at the very least have enough stamina to "get back up". If anything this is a great topic for displaying Logan's stamina and ability to endure. A lot Wolverine haters see Logan as a easy K.O. This topic thanks in part to Jinzin and his marvelous scans, will educate those that think Logan has a low tolerance for pain. One of the major gripes about Logan is that he is able to endure in some comics, and then he is easily knocked out from behind in others. Well there is no excuse for inconsistent writing, but the hard core fans can theorize and come up with possible explanations. Jinzin has come up with a theory that explains that Logan's healing factor could of raised his tolerance levels over the years. We all know that Logan has survived so horrifying and brutal injuries, and it has already been stated various comics that Logan can cope with that pain. But recently we learned that his healing factor heals over the mental trauma from Logan's past. So what if his healing factor adds more tissue to his brain to keep it from bouncing around in that skull of his? What if the constant training over the years has taught his healing factor to toughen up his body beyond superhuman levels? In short Logan has taken on enough bricks in the Marvel Universe to earn the title of "Anti -Brick". So this thread will reflect on Jinzin's finds and you are more then welcome to post your agreements, disagreements, and findings. I'll start out with a really brutal one that shows despite being floored by Wonderman who has the power of "Superman", Logan still is conscious and awake afterward. ![]() Inbetween this and the third scan Logan is smashed into the ground "Dragon Ball Z" style and saved by another Brick.

Warpath isn't the strongest Brick ever, but he certainly is a pretty damn strong opponent. This is a good example of how Logan can mix it up and keep the enemy surprised. A distracted Logan takes a direct hit to the face and that isn't enough to keep Logan down for the count. ![]() ![]()

Wolverine goes up against Thanos on two separate occasions. He is strong enough to make him bleed.![]() ![]() Despite nailing Thanos in the chest however, he uses the Infinity Gauntlet to turn Logan's bones to rubber.

Sasquatch beats Logan like a dirty rug and tries to basically kill him. This is excellent proof of the amount of punishment Logan can handle and still conscious afterward to fight. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Special thanks to Jinzin for taking so much time to scan these in. |

I think Logan's stamina is the key to take out 'Bricks' or 'Tanks' as i call them myself. Basicly he just needs to tire them down before making the final blow. |

In that one sence where Sasquatch beats him Shaman told him that his metal works against magick. Knowing that magick can hurt Supers I wonder if Wolverine got close enough could he take him out? I know Superman would punch a hole though him but if Logan had that ONE perfect hit........ |

Well Wolverine has gone toe to toe with the Hulk more times then i care to remember and it generally ends up pretty close. Sometimes Wolverine wins and sometimes the Hulk does. In WWH he and Colossus were honestly the best two showings against the uber Hulk until the Sentry stepped in. Wolverine has defeated Wendigo too and fought Juggernaut plenty of times. I would not say bricks are his weakness. If anything his weakness is mental attacks. His healing factor does not tend to help there and although he has shown to have some advantages against them, a strong psionic attacks tends to lay him out. |

I remember back in Uncanny, not sure which issue, he gets taken into the air and dropped. There was a line about Meteors having hit with less force but he gets up and walks away. Heck at this point he's been hit with nukes and walked away. I don't think even the hulk has those kinds of fists. |
