So what was up with the writer's picking on poor Logan anyways? I have to admit I laughed a little bit, with the people offering to be "straddled" by Skrulls. But I have a feeling I'm not going to care for the next issue.

I don't own the issue, but basically the Skrulls opened up this place where humans can the enjoying the experience of being ridden like a "bull". They all think it's just a sexual roleplay thing, until the Skrull's start killing their human cows. That is when Wolverine comes to the rescue in nothing but cow underwear and a straddle. He tells the Skrull Killcrew heroes that he was undercover, tracking down Skrulls and he was pretending to be one of the interested fetish victims. The whole issue was extremely weird.
 Just one more thing for people who hate Wolverine to use as ammunition.
