I really don't like how they made Logan the bad guy in all of this. It's like they forgot the fact that Hulk ate thousands of innocent people. Kids, women, old people, etc. |

I thought it was hundreds not thousands but either way the Hulk is a monster for sure. Of course Wolverine has killed at least as many people if you look at it this way. the Hulk went out of his way to get away from people knowing what he is. Sure he's a nut ball monster but in the ultimate verse most of them are. I don't know if there should be a good guy or bad guy in this. Just two tough fighters tearing each other up. |

The way I'm looking at it is this: Wolverine hasn't went out of his way to kill little kids, old men, women, and various other demographics who were simply minding their own business. Wolverine hasn't killed anyone who couldn't either defend themself or at the very least had a weapon pointed at him. Hulk didn't differentiate if you are innocent or not, he simply ate you alive no matter who you were. And this in my eyes is a big difference in terms of murder. When he first escaped in the Ultimates he ate a whole team of female nurses and scientists before they stopped him. Hulk is like a demon who rapes you, kills you, and then craps you out afterward. I see a big difference here. Now that they are painting him as a monk and trying to show him in the same light as his 616 counterpart, I feel my nerd rage slipping out. I still trying to like this book, but I will feel very unsatisfied if I have to read about what a cute cuddly bunny Hulk is deep down inside.

Most of the people the hulk killed were just in his way. He was trying to get to Betsy Ross and pretty much went through everyone that was between him and her. In truth most of the deaths occurred because the ultimates were trying to stop him. He did not go out of his way to kill anyone that I know of. Whereas Wolverine is a hired gun who kills anyone he's pointed at. Don't assign 616 honor to the Ultimate Logan it does not fit right. He's a much more indiscriminate killer. Remember he signed on to the X-Men only to kill the Professor it was a job. He did not do it pretty much just because he fell for Jean. That said do I think Wolverine is worst then the Hulk? No. Between the two Wolverine is rational and at least capable of making up his own mind and avoiding violence. The Hulk is simply a force of nature that does not care who he injures or kills. |

Nope you are wrong. If you want more proof, pick up the newest issue of Ultimate Spider-man. Hulk is confronted by the zombified remains of all the people he has eaten. And just like I said above, they are all crying out "What did I do to deserve this?" and "why did you eat me?". It wasn't these people's fault they happen to be crossing the street when the Hulk picked them up and devoured them whole. And most of them looked like teenagers. I rather not waste precious time digging up more concrete evidence, so I'll just stand by my opinion that this version of the Hulk has nothing redeemable about him. Most likely these deaths happened off screen, but he still ate them regardless and they proved no threat to him. Just like all those times he flipped out over calling Betty and another guy picking up the phone. What did all those people do to deserved being wiped out? S.H.I.E.L.D covered it up as a terrorist attack or a freak weather accident, but it was the Hulk that killed everyone in that area. Ultimate Logan is a jerk and a murderer. He killed a kid because his power was killing everyone in a town. And he was going to kill Professor X because Magneto wanted him to. But did he kill women and children because he was hungry or was having a bad day? The answer is no. And that is why I was hoping for at least one scene where Logan gave it back to the Hulk, and so far it looks like this issue wasn't worth picking up so far. Heck I would settle for both of them getting their just desserts, but we all know that is not going to happen either. |

Don't read Ult Spiderman so I can't comment. Only things I know about the Hulk was the first bit in the Team Up and the Ultimates appearances. Where yes he's a jerk and a monster but apparently not to the level he's being shown elsewhere. |

I like how Logan and the Hulk ended up respecting each other in the 616 universe.![]() I was kind of hoping for something like that toward the end. Instead it seems like Logan is the cliche evil henchman who is going to fail catching that rascally rabbit. I mean Hulk. |

There is mutual respect in 616 yeah and they are sometime allies. I don't think they like each other much though. Too many fights between them. |

Compared to the other two mind blowing epic single issues of "X-Force" and "Old Man Logan", this issue does indeed fall a bit flat. I wonder if I would of cared more about this if it came out last week. One thing that really does stand out in my face is Banners attempt to push out Logan's "soft side". I like the whole concept of Logan saving Hulk's life, but I don't know if it works well from this angle. In the end I'm interested in reading other opinions, because I just feel torn over the whole conclusion. I don't know if I was expecting too much, but this is definitely not the conclusion I had somehow imagined. Overall.... meh.
