It looks very promising to me! A couple fan gripes, though:

Logan calling Kurt "little". I've only ever seen him do that in bad fanfic and at Storm's wedding. It's just odd.

Him finding out about Kurt being religious so soon (in the flashback). In Uncanny X-men #165, he was surprised to find this out.

Still - I'm really, really looking forward to this.

Continuity has never been that strong with any of the current Wolverine titles. One of my bigger gripes. But I am very glad to see the Kurt/Wolverine bond get addressed and dealt with in its own issue rather then a couple of throw back panels.

Poor Wolverine is having a tough time again. His best (male) friend is dead. His best (female friend/foster daughter) is a vampire and his team was disbanded.

I suppose this says a lot about me, but the depiction of Kurt and Logan as beer drinking adults has always been amusing, especially since most of their informal contests and wagers involved beer as a prize. Plus it has been established that they are regulars at Harry's Hideaway and found it shortly after their arrival in Salem Center.

Also If you look back at the X-Men back-up story "First Night", which depicts the New X-Men's first nght at the mansion Logan is drinking when he encounters Angel and Jean Grey, and Sean and Kurt are drinking while they are hanging out with Peter. If you think about it you have a Canadian, an Irishman, and a German, after returning from a tough mission they will find beer. I would not be surprised if Xavier was drinking privately that night as well. I know that I would be.

I also wonder what Logan and Kurt thought of American beer, because it is quite different from German and Canadian beer.
