I'll admit that I don't like what I see so far. because 1) I am sick of Scarlet Witch and if I never read about her again, I would be a very happy fan. 2) This really does look like a rejected X-Men cover. That aside I hope this turns out to be a great issue.

The first one was good so hopefully this one will be too. I worry though since they cut the series from 5 issues to 4 which shows a lack of either story or faith.

Hopefully it is just the fear I have for reading another bad Phoenix story. Now that we know the Hooded Man and Old Man Logan are most likely one and the same, do you think we might see it briefly mentioned here?

It's possible if they are going to go into his backstory any. After all hanging up his hero tights for years is pretty important to a character even if it did happen a few hundred years ago. Plus Old Man Logan is hot right now so any sort of tie in could boost sales.

This issue was great and I enjoyed the strong suggestion that he is in fact "Old Man Logan". Sure they didn't come out and say "He is Old Man Logan from Wolverine issue #72!" But now we know he has the same past as well, so that in conjuction with what Miller said cements my theory more. Which is pretty cool and I like the idea of Logan's healing factor keeping him alive for over 500 years.

The battle between Banner JR and Hooded Man was great and I love that one line before he got thrown into a building. "My boy". Goes to show pain doesn't bother Logan at all, he is more interested in training his adopted son to be a bad ass. As for the issues conclusion I can't say I'm thrilled, but at least we know Phoenix and Scarlet Witch are probably clones. And hurray for the mentioning of Logan having resistance to telepathy!

You were right about the numbering btw. They adjusted the number to #2 of #4. Which is a shame, I wouldn't mind this story being a few issues longer. I know I'm probably the only one and I don't mind, but I wish this was a on going series. (If the writing was consistent, who wouldn't want to see Hooded Man / Old Man Logan's adventures continue?)

You're not the only one. I am really enjoying this series. It's got strong characters fun action and a sense of realism in the events that is usually missing in super hero books. I'd buy it if it was ongoing.
