![]() A friend of mine named Jinzin had this scan and several others I've posted in the past. He had one of the Hulk trying to rip him apart in the 616 universe. I have to see if I can track down what he is referencing, it might of been from the 6 Hours mini. Anyone have any theories? In this panel it says the adamantium is bonded on a molecular level and his joints can't be pulled from their sockets. |

Jinzin? As in Killermovies forums Jinzin? I never thought the internet was such a small place, haha! I have a dusty ol` Killermovies account and upon discovering his Wolverine Respect Thread I thought it was the most awesome thing anyone would do for Wolvie; then I discovered this place ![]() I think Jinzin also had a scan in which the 616 Hulk tried to pull him apart and failed. But then the Spider-Man Web of Shadows came out and in one of the instances, Venom-Spidey ripped Wolverine in half...meh, I think that can hardly be considered canon though. I prefer non-rippable Wolvie myself

Yeah. I love that guy. It is because of Jinzin and DiG that I am so hardcore about Wolverine again. I invited him over here and he said he might consider it someday. He has a tremendous amount of respect for DiG and his website. The two really should get to know each other. |

Personally i think it's not possible, even if Hulk is VERY pissed off. Adamanium is 616 is a lot harder and durable then the Ultimate universe one. |

Well bonding no his joints doesn't seem likely. If they couldn't be pulled apart they wouldn't rotate either. He'd be a indestructible statue. As long as they move correctly there is no reason why they can't be popped out of joint or even removed. I'd chalk it up to comic book science. |

That story proved otherwise when a demonic entity tried to rip off his arms and failed. It wasn't his strength that failed him, but the fact that nothing could pull Wolverine apart. Waist, Arms, etc. If his bones are magically unbreakable by a metal that doesn't really exist, then it's not a far stretch to say his joints can be pulled out either. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before Marvel writes these issues from existence though. |

Just following up on what you said, here's a statement I made the other day: I've always held a theory that you could indeed cut off one of Wolverine's limbs. As of yet, the only time I've ever even seen it even partially tackled was by the writer of Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk. As we all know his bones are coated in adamantium. But each bone is a separate piece connected by material/tissue that isn't bone. So in theory, if you cut off one of his limbs at the joints, between the areas where the bones connect, you could indeed sever part of his body. |

Not saying it can't happen, just saying that logicially that should not be the case so it falls into comic book science. Essentially something that is true in a comic but defies rationality. Like why don't Cyclops eye rays pull his head from his body due to force recoil. |

Dude! Imagine Cyclops going full force with his beams and then his head flies off! That would be hilarious.

I can see it now, a special Marvel one-shot: "What if the Marvel universe used real world physics?". Hilarity would ensue. |
