![]() What do you think is the amount of pain threshold Wolverine can take before passing out? How much should Logan take before his healing factor gives up? We all know Logan has a greater tolerance for pain and can withstand much more then your normal human. From your reading experience where do the boundaries lie? ![]() Please remember that the healing factor conversation is here. This is a thread for talking about Logan's stamina and endurance. To put it in perspective we know Logan probably can take a full force punch from the Incredible Hulk. But how many times can Logan get shot before he falls unconscious? We know it depends on the writer, but I would like to hear your opinions anyway?

Well Wolverine can take a brutal amount of punishment, Hulk punches for example, but if you shoot him lets say 500 times in the ehad, he'll pass out. Especially with Spoiler: click to toggle .Yes i'm trying to make it a meme. Edited by Gorvar, May 10 2009, 02:38 PM.

Think so. All humans have the same pressure points. |

Healing factor or not, pressure points need only one good touch. |

True. But I would think someone who could endure a gunshot wound without becoming useless, would be able to endure a pressure point. This is more about the pain Logan can tolerate and what he can't. That make sense or not? I mean I would think a punch from the Hulk would be worse then a pressure point. |

Depends where the Hulk punches him though. Adamantium does absorb most of the punch |

There`s also another issue to consider; over prolongued exposure to pain, the body adapts and becomes more tolerant. Also, the mind comes up with coping mechanisms. For example, Kyokushin initiates go through a heap of painful exercises that area meant to increase their endurance: they punch tree logs with bare hands and hit each other full force in vulnerable spots (such as the abdomen). This being said, Logan has been in and out of extermely painful situations all his life: he`s been burnt, run over, stabbed (if he`s having a "good day") and shot at (if he`s having a "regular" day) more times that one could count; thus, his pain tolerance would be higher than the average. And then, there`s also his will power; if he has to go through hell to save somebody / accomplish a mission, then through hell he shall go. I think he has a very clear deffinition of his own strengths and weaknesses and uses that to mobilize himself whenever necessary. |
