| Original Numbering; Maybe for #300? | |

I'm curious if anyone has heard anything about Wolverine going back to it's Vol 2 numbering at some point in the future like Thor and FF did. It's the second longest running X-title and my by count already at 260 issues. I was hoping for a number return at 250 but no such luck. I guess the issue is partially that the first series ended at 189 so every time the combined series nears a milestone the third series is only a few issues away from one. But I think 300 is a milestone that should be celebrated. Not many series get to run that long uninterrupted. In fact since X-Men was canceled then restarted, in truth Wolverine would be the first. |

Wolverine won't be any time soon, since it's becoming Dark Wolverine. However Daredevil, Captain America, and Hulk are all going back to their original numbering within the next few months. I've been waiting on that for quite some time. What's left? Wolverine and Iron Man? |

I was under the impression that Dark Wolverine would only be lasting 5 or 6 issues during Dark Reign. Unless the numbers are amazing I expect it will go back to Wolverine sometime this fall/winter. |

I don't know if that's the case either way, but it seems a bit odd to only rename it for half a year. |

It would be pointless with Wolverine Weapon X being released next week.. http://forums.wolverinefiles.com/topic/1146767/1/ That's going to be the new ongoing series, which focuses only on Wolverine and not his adventures with the Avengers, X-Men, or his Origin. |

Could just be wishful thinking. But even if they extend it a while there are still 36 issues after 75 before it hits 300. With the current trend I do hope the numbers go back even if it's just to so the title a bit of respect. |

LOL or they could go back to volume two and just squish all the titles together, thus increasing the number to almost three hundred.

Why stop there? include all the one shots and then add in Origins and Weapon X and see if they can make 500! |

i agree that wolverine should go back to original numbering. If they do and dont include 'Weapon X' and 'Origins' then if they count the 'Dark' portions of wolverine which is #75-89 that would make the 3rd wolverine series do out in September 2010 stop at issue 21 and then become 300 instead of 22. because you have 189 v1 89 v2. then v3 21 |
