Create your own X-Man or X-Men Team Please fill out the following questions. Code-name: Real name: Place of Birth: Base of operations: Education level: Occupation: Group Affiliation: Personality description: Age: Height: Weight: Hair color: Eyes: Known Relatives: Origin: How the character met the X-Men: Powers: Special Skills and Talents Arch-nemesis: Create as many chracters as you like and be as extensive as you like, just try to make it interesting (or boring if you like) and have fun. If you do not have a fully "fleshed-out" idea just ask and I will offer some ideas and maybe some others board members will help as well. I am really excited about this because I have an x-team that I created back when I was 19 years old. They may seem a little silly now, but I still have affection for them. Code-name: The Rider Real name: Isabel Blighton Place of Birth: Transylvania Base of operations: Mobile Education level: self-taught, extremely extensive in various areas. Occupation: lady of leisure, with a fortune in silver. Group Affiliation: X-Men Personality description: Isabel is cultured, poised, polite, kind and every inch the epitome of the gentile lady. Despite this image her personality and physical presence practically oozes power, and it radiates off of her in waves. This makes others uncomfortable in her presence unless they know her and realize how kind and caring a person she is. Although when greatly angered Isabel has a very severe “mean streak”. Age: 649 (looks to be in late 30s to early 40s) Height: 5’ 10 Weight: 123 lbs Hair color: Brown (worn very, very long) Eyes: Black and orange Known Relatives: Humphrey Bartholomew Blighton (husband, deceased) Origin: Born in 1362 in the remote Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania to a gypsy tribe Isabel grew up very poor as her parents and the caravan travelled the countryside. In order to earn money she became a dancing girl/ stage performer by the age of eleven. This had a negative effect on Isabel’s psyche at such an early age and she grew up to believe she only had value because of her physical apperance, primarily because her telepathic abilities were developing and the thoughts that she often came into contact with were from people that only saw her as a physical object. At the age of 13 Isabel caught attention of a young silver merchant named Humphrey Bartholomew Blighton. Humphrey possessed modest wealth and offered a dowry in exchange for Isabel’s hand in marriage. The dowry was accepted and Isabel was married off to Humphrey much to her displeasure. However Humphrey was a kind and patient man and soon Isabel grew to love him a great deal. Unfortunately Isabel still regarded her only worth being that of her physical beauty, and greatly feared that as she got older Humphrey would love her less and less. By the time that she reached her early twenties Isabel was spending many, many hours researching arcane spells in search of one that would endow her with eternal beauty and youth. Eventually Isabel stumbled upon a high-powered spell that promised to grant her wishes for external beauty. The spell was long and complicated and tapped into the primal forces of the universe through which it siphoned a miniscule amount of mystical power and energy from every mystical immortal or long-lived being in the universe. (i.e. Mephisto, every pantheon of the gods, like the Asgardians, Cthulhu, the Olympians, etc…) The spell only lasted a few seconds, and Isabel was able to draw immensely gargantuan amounts of mystical energy into her body, and trap them there, successfully gaining, eternal beauty, near-immortality and a vast array of mystical abilities. The machinations of the spell did not go un-noticed and the Asgardian gods, Those who sit above in shadow sent minions to investigate the stealing of a portion of their power. In the dead of night the minions discovered Isabel and Humphrey deep in slumber. The minions attacked the couple and ensuing Isabel was gravely injured losing her left eye and having her tongue ripped out. Humphrey was able to fend off the demons and escape with Isabel into the Transylvanian wilderness. Following their escape Humphrey and Isabel travelled for many years always running and fighting the various agents of the angry immortals that sought revenge on Isabel for her theft. In the process Isabel has grown as a person is now quite kind and caring to those people she encounters. She has also learned that the beauty of a person is far more than physical. Over the centuries a legend has grown up around Isabel during her travels where she became simply known as, “the Rider”. How the character met the X-Men: Isabel encountered Professor Xavier when he was developing and testing Cerebro. Charles became curious when he discovered the psychic blank spot that Isabel creates around herself. Powers: Isabel is an unbelievably powerful sorceress, so much so that there is almost nothing that she cannot accomplish through mystical means. It is speculated that If properly motivated she could engage Mephisto, Thanos, Galactus, Dormammu and Odin in combat simultaneously and most likely win. Unfortunately a draw back to Isabel’s use of her mystical abilities is the more she employs them the younger she becomes and the less powerful she is. The careful expending of her mystical powers is also the way that Isabel retains her youth. She still ages, but at an extremely, extremely slow rate. Despite missing her left eye and tongue it does not diminish her appearance and Isabel possesses the beauty and charisma of a goddess. In addition to her mystical powers Isabel also possesses moderate telepathic abilities. Although not as powerful as those of Charles Xavier or Emma Frost they are considerable. Isabel often uses her telepathic abilities to take possession of a person to use to speak for her since she no longer possesses a tongue. Isabel also uses her telepathic powers to create a psychic blank spot to mask her presence from other telepaths. Special Skills and Talents: Isabel is self taught in a vast array of subjects over her 600+ years of life. Arch-nemesis: Any immortal, mystical being that seeks her destruction.
