This actually looks to be a fantastic month. Some stuff that I'm really excited about... mostly CAPTAIN AMERICA #600.

Getting all the Spidey books from June. Hard to go wrong with Joe Kelly and Roger Stern.

DARK AVENGERS/UNCANNY X-MEN: UTOPIA
(...) 6-part crossover event,
When mutant riots break out in San Francisco, Norman Osborn declares martial law and sends the Dark Avengers in to quell the riots and take down the X-Men. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Sounds good.

While just about everything in those solicits looks great, a few things stick out for me.

From the Dark Avengers/Uncanny crossover solicit: Don't miss the first Avengers/X-Men crossover in over 15 years! That's not true. House of M was marketed as a New Avengers/X-Men crossover of sorts.

What interesting Cable #15, and Uncanny X-Men #511 covers. Very are intriguing. Though I already have a strong feeling the cover for Uncanny isn't exactly about the character we think it is.

WOLVERINE: ORIGINS #37 "ROMULUS," Part 1 For over a century, he's been hiding in the darkest shadows of Wolverine's life, controlling the beast and destroying the man. But now, finally, the tide is turning...and Wolverine's vengeance is within reach! Introducing: ROMULUS!

Finally!

Did anyone else notice X-Men: Legacy is mysteriously absent? Perhaps it's on hiatus while they retool the title into whatever it is to become next.

So it is indeed the final issue of the current direction. Now perhaps we'll finally find out what X-Men: Legacy is going to become next. A question that's been on my mind since the day Mike Carey first stated that this was a finite concept.

Well, Marvel has released the full solicitations for June 2009, and if you didn't think there could possibly be anything else Wolverine-related by what was seen in either yesterday's links or from what DiG posted on the blog...well then, guess again...
